The cleanser can be left on your face for a few minutes to dissolve the old, dead layer of skin to reveal a glowing complexion. Alpha-hydroxy acids can increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun so the use of a sunscreen is recommended while using Skin Renewing Cleanser and it is recommended to continue for one week after discontinuing the use of this cleanser.
